In the required situation, in the second stage operation within 2-3 months after the two methods, the adaptation of the other breast is accomplished to the newly formed breast generally either by lifting (mastopexy) or shaping. Again in this operation or in the 3rd stage operations accomplished 2-3 months later, the reconstruction is finished by the forming of the nipple.
 

How Is the Healing Stage?
Operation duration is, in the first reconstruction operation 1-2 hours, for the flap operation 1-2 hours and for the flap operation 1-2 days and is applied under general anesthesia. After the attempts following the first reconstruction, staying in the hospital is not required in general. Returning to work happens after the prosthesis operation in 3-4 weeks. It can be started in 4-6 weeks after the use of prosthesis, in 6-8 weeks after the use of flap.
